Google Chrome had an apathy problem: People don’t care about what browser they use. Fortunately, everyone cares about speed. So we brought together the world’s fastest rapper (Busta Rhymes) and fastest driver (Lando Norris) to create the fastest track about the fastest browser (Chrome). Now try to think about Google Chrome without thinking about speed…you can’t.
The track instrumentals fueled an open verse challenge on TikTok, daring people to rap as fast as Lando Norris drives
To continue the momentum, we debuted a special Chrome livery and helmet during McLaren’s home race: the British GP
And to our surprise McLaren had its best performance in years—having the fastest pitstop and finishing in 2nd place. Even Lewis Hamilton couldn’t believe it.
