The Problem

Minions is the highest-grossing animated film franchise of all time. But after riding a huge wave of licensing deals, young adults have created a subculture of hate around Minions. They’re tired of seeing them everywhere.

The Solution: Use the love of Minion super fans to convert the biggest haters.

“Minion haters” were fans at one point so we’re willing to bet that their hatred is not as real as it seems. Rather than avoiding the gossip, let’s tackle the subject of “minion-hate” head on.

How it Works

We’ll gather the most passionate Minion haters and fans in one room to host a Minion intervention. With help from some of the world’s best psychologists and interrogation experts, we’ll conduct activities that are designed to dive deep into the psyche of these haters and make them question their negative feelings. We call this acome-to-Minion moment.”

To make things even more interesting, we’ll surprise the class by inviting celebrity cast members from the film to participate—making it almost impossible for “Minion haters” to argue against them.

Each session will be recorded and become part of a video series that shows the full spectrum of “Minion haters” turning into fans right before our eyes. No matter if you’re an outspoken Redditor, single bachelor, or film critic, this experiment will always reveal a surprising fundamental truth: Minions are impossible not to love.
