The Problem

Social isolation and record-breaking unemployment caused by COVID-19 has increased people’s anxiety and depression, making it more difficult to stay inspired.

The Solution: Give people who lost their jobs the chance to get one of the best WFH jobs there is.

An audiobook narrator is one of the world’s coolest jobs. Yet many of us never imagined a career doing it. Let’s change that.

 
 

How it Works

We’ll launch a nationwide search for the next great storytellers quarantined at home. Editors of relevant Condé Nast brands will post a series of stories, announcing a challenge to find distinct voices who can bring their words to life.

For example…

GQ will share a story on street culture and look for the best New York accent.

and them will share a memoir about a queer's awakening and look for a voice that represents today's LGBTQ community.

 
 

In order to audition, consumers must simply post a video on social media reading one of the stories with the hashtag: #AudibleAuditions.

The best voices as voted on by consumers will receive a job as an audiobook narrator for Audible. Now they can conquer the world again.
