The Problem

The young people of today are going to face the worst effects from climate change and they’re fighting back on a scale never before seen because the reality is, if there's no planet, there's no sport.

The Problem:“We believe that climate change is the defining environmental issue of our generation because the reality is if there's no plan, there's no sport." — Noel Kinder, Chief Sustainability Officer at Nike

The Solution: Harness the motivational power of Nike Run Club to fuel the youth climate movement.

How it Works

We’ll tap Nike’s top collaborators to work with young climate change activists from all over the globe and design running shoes inspired by the future they are fighting for.

Run for Change

Using Nike’s latest sustainable materials, each shoe will serve as a beacon of hope but the only way to unlock them is through the act of running.

The more you run, the brighter our future becomes.

Through the Nike Run Club app, we’ll push out motivational content and weekly challenges that encourage people to run in order to raise the funds our young climate activists need.

Nike will match every mile clocked with a monetary donation and once we hit our mileage goals, the coveted shoes will be unlocked and available to those who ran with us.

We’ll raise funds in stride

We’ll turn every Nike running event into a fundraiser. As an added layer of motivation, runners will be given the opportunity to push their limits and reach new personal bests in order to raise bonus funds for the young climate activists.
